The rules should
serve the members.
We are preparing Victorian incorporation using the official model rules.
The constitution selected
The founder has selected Victoria’s official model rules for the initial association. Only the name, purposes and financial year have been completed. The proposed legal name is Grand Party of Australia Incorporated, subject to the official name check. The financial year ends on 31 December.
The rules still need a genuine member decision and an incorporation application. The earlier custom v2 constitution is development material and is not being adopted alongside the model rules.
Members and committee
Five founding members are identified for the application. Under the model rules, the named offices are President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, with ordinary committee members if elected. The remaining office nominations and each person’s consent must be recorded before appointment.
Membership does not itself appoint someone to the committee. Elections, meeting notices, proxies, voting rights, discipline and grievances follow the model rules.
Money and influence
Free membership remains the founder’s intention. The formation papers propose a $0 joining fee and subscription through a member resolution; the model rules retain an annual fee decision process. A proposed $1,500 formation spending ceiling applies only within actual available funds.
Separate payment approvals and donor checks are being prepared as operating arrangements. Donations are not open, and no bank account, payment activation or officer authority is asserted by this website.
